i have a couple of small white holes between my pinky and 4th toe. wont go away and hurts a bit as i have started running again recently. last year doctor gave me some fungal tablets which made me ill and then daktarin creme which was useless. is there anything i can buy to treat it. i keep my foot open to air a lot and use tcp and savlon
You seem to have erosio interdigitalis blastomycetica. It is a candidal infection caused by Candida albicans. Blood tests may be done to rule out DM,HIV and other immunodeficiencies.
There may be itching and burning. Whitish eroded lesios may be there in interdigital areas.
Antifungal like itraconazole or ketoconazole tab may be taken for few weeks. Apply antifungal lotion like clotrimazole. Avoid soap bath. Use dettol liq for cleansing the area. Keep the area dry.You might get good result in few weeks.
