Suggest Cure For Thick Mucus In Throat
my daughter has thick mucus in her throat, and is unable to anything but soft foods. Her peditrician gave her an antibiotic saying she may have a sinus infection. She is finished with the antibiotic and still has very thick mucus in her throat. She has also been taking 3 teaspoons of mucinex. She is very frustrated and so am I. What do you suggest?

The treatment you are getting is fine. The thick mucus usually takes some time to resolve. You should give her steam inhalation at least 2-3 times a day it will surely help.
