My father is undergoing long term dialysis treatment, recently his THS increased to 150 , other reports are somewhat normal, how serious is the matter ? are their any diet considerations that he has to consider ... he is taking thyronorm 75 and 50 on alternate days right now
If he is on dialysis he need good protein. Daily diet changes should be their considering kidney profile. Take care of sodium, potassium, urea, creatinine. Fluid intake according to dialysis. If details have been provided could have counselled specifically. Protein will be decided according to weight. Include good sources like milk, if non vegetarian egg whites can include curds or soya.
