Hi & Welcome.
I can understand your concern.
You need to have certain dietary modifications to reduce the symptoms of oesophagitis like:

Avoid spicy or fatty meals as they may alter the lower oesophageal sphincter pressure, and increase the risk of reflux.
Avoid alcohol, cigarette smoking, coffee, tea, chocolate bars and drinks, cola drinks, and fried foods.
Avoid citrus fruits & juices, tomatoes and tomato sauces.
Also, pay attention to body position after eating.
Keep a diary of food and drink which appear to cause your symptoms.
Balance food over 3 meals and 2 snacks per day.
Base each meal on low fat, high fiber carbohydrate such as cereal, bread, pasta or rice.
Avoid having 'seconds' at dinner and avoid eating closer than 3 hours before bed.
Reduce weight, if overweight and do regular exercise.

Hope the suggestions given above could be useful in getting rid of the symptoms of oesophagitis.
