Suggest Diet For Mild Positive Noticed In TMT Test

hai.my father aged 52 years has undergone tmt which was mildly positive for excerice induced ischemia .he is diabetic with diet control and bp 130/80.does it indicate any plaque formation in the coronary artery.can it be controlled with diet control and exercise?

Noted you have exercise induced ischemia.

So coronary artery narrowing might be present that can lead vasoconstriction if more demand needed as in exercise.So it can lead to angina attacks in future.

Do your serum cholesterol estimation.
If high then chances of atherosclerosis more.

Yes diet and exercise can be very helpful.

Avoid smoking.

If hypertension present treated .

Keep sugar level under control.

Take low fat diet.

Junk food taken very less

Green leafy veg useful.

Regular exercise done.

If you have chest pain in future then ECG done for rule out ischemic heart disease.
