Hi i am a 54 year old male and I have.Just been told that I have two ulcers within my stomach, I only found this out because I had an internal bleed. I have had an endoscope and am waiting for the bi results. My doc has pricribed me antibiotics and ant acid tablets. He said I will have to take the anti acid tabs for the rest of my life. He has also advised me not to eat anything spicy, no fizzy drinks and no curries etc for the rest of my lifebut I have tried to find out what foods I can eat on the intranet and can only find mostly things not to eat, can you help
Some herbs which simultaneously heal the Ulcers and also work as antacids, are the answer for your condition such as Asparagus and Glycrrhizia herbs and/or preparations made of these.
Then there are sootshekhar rasa, kamadudha rasa (with pearl), Drakshavaleh and Prawal Pishti, Amalaki etc which have the capacity to bring such patients to normal. Non spicy and non chilly food are good to avoid as of now.
When you get back to normal, you may take normal food.
You may ask any further query and directions for ayurveda treatment if you agree with me.
