Well I have gone through your queries , now let me tell you that you need to be on long term
antacid supplementation (as your doctor must've been prescribed)
To prevent this in future , you need to be strictly modifying your lifestyle as well as diet-habit(if not done yet).
. Small frequent portions of meal in a day(4-5 small portions in every 2-3Hrs)
Well the following advises may sound & Taste really bland but they are actually helpful to prevent this in future:
. Avoid Spicy food as much as possible
. Don't over eat, in-fact try to under eat a little(if your feeling you're going to be full by having 5 breads, have 4 and then stop )
. Fizzy drinks/Alcohol/smoking/chocolate/junk food is a strict no-no
. Make a habit of walking for about an hour after dinner, and keep an interval of ~2Hrs from dinner to bed-time
. while sleeping keep your head on a bigger pillow(aim to keep the head end a bit higher compared to your feet end that's all)
. Try to have fresh fruits/veggies(Organic is the best) instead of commercial fruit juices
. Try this at home in morning after getting up - a glass of lukewarm water pinch of Finely chopped ginger, 5-10ml freshly squeeze lemon juice, a teaspoon of honey - drink it every morning on empty stomach for about a week and you'll feel the changes
