Hello Mr. Faisal,
Your basal caloric requirements without exercise are slightly over 2,628. To lose weight,if you were my client I would go along with your diet to range from 1600 to 1800 to lose up to one kg per week. If you can exercise at least 30 minutes daily that would assure the success of the reduced calories, otherwise you will decrease your
metabolism.
Your blood pressure of 150/85 requires a sodium restriction of 1,500 mg per day if on medication or 2,300 mg if not on medication and that is what I would recommend to my patient based on the US Dietary Guidelines and Clinical Guidelines for treating
hypertension nutritionally.
Excuse me chol/tg about 450? which is which?
Are you having stomach pains or digestive issues, floating stools, gas?
To be fair to you, I highly advise an individualized plan for you that takes into account the low sodium, low calorie, (need more information from the lipid panel), high fiber
diet plan, supplement regimen if needed and an exercise program to build muscle while losing fat to maintain your metabolic rate.
Your personal information was not included with this query. My personal information is on my profile if you would like further information regarding finding a Dietitian. Regards, Kathryn Shattler, MS,RDN
