Hi, I am 28 years old female and my eight months of pregnancy is going on,my weight was 41 kg before pregnancy and now it is 52 kg. So,can you tell me what will be my babies weight,And also suggest what type of food am i supposed to take during 8th and 9th month
Hi, If you do not have any contraindications like diabetes, hypertension or allergies, you can take normal diet. If you are a non-vegetarian, have a boiled egg everyday along with milk. Have plenty of fish and fish oils. Take protein-rich diet which includes pulses, legumes, eggs and meat. If you are a vegetarian, please take plenty of fresh vegetables, especially greens, legumes, carrot, fresh fruits and adequate liquids. As your weight gain is appropriate, your pregnancy is progressing normally. Estimated weight of the baby can be given after fetal measurements are taken in the sonogram and computed. Wish you safe motherhood.
