My child is now 1year 3 months old. he does not eat properly. Whenever I try to feed him with roti, egg, rice, etc., he either vomits or take just one or 2 bites. I am giving him full cream milk but in the day time, his intake of mil is also less. He is just of 9 kg. he does not eat dal, vegetables, etc. Even he is quite fussy about fruits also. Kindly guide me to increase his diet and improve his intake of food habits.
Is he in same condition since birth or started later ? Give him suspension Aptimax 1 table spoon daily for 2 weeks. Start gradually with semi solid food which included: Kichdi, custard, cerelac, mashed banana, half boiled egg and ofcourse milk. and then go for other daily products but in small quantity.
Record his weight on weekly basis. If condition persists for more than 2 weeks then consult for a Pediatrician
AVOID: Chocolates, Tea, coffee & drinks. These foods can also ruin the child's appetite for nutritious meals.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. Wishing him good health.
