Suggest Diet Plans For Loss Of Appetite During Typhoid Infection In Children

hi, my son is 1 year and 4 months. he has been diagnosed to have typhoid on the basis of a stool examination which showed to have a titre of 1:40 of s. typhi. could you please suggest the best plan of diet for my son who has lost an appetite due to this illness.

Hello

Dear just give soft semi-solid or liquid diet which is useful.

use little smashed potatoes, Rice water juice ,with vegetables may useful. avoid high fat diet.

Here few food s I mentioned:
Fruit juices
Glucose water
Milk
Coconut water
Barley water
Custards
Thin dhals
Eggs
Gruel's
Vegetable juices
Soups
Cereal preparations
Tender meat
Baked fish
Buttermilk with a pinch of salt
Boiled leafy veggies
Boiled veggies (carrots, beans, pumpkin, sweet potato etc)
Dried fruits or dried nuts blended with milk
Orange and yellow fruits (citrus fruits).
