Suggest Diet To E Followed During Treatment For Pityriasis Rosea
Hi, my son affected PR three weeks ago. He has been cutting all kinds of the meat and seafood. Some of the fruits like cherry and mangos are also bad for PR. He is almost recovered but still unable to eat these food like before. We still not sure that what kind of the food are best for PR patient. And he is still unable to stay under the sun. Do you also think he should avoid to eat these food I mentioned? Thank you!
Pityriasis rosea is a viral infection caused by Herpes simplex virus. It is self limiting condition which means it resolves by itself even without treatment. It has nothing to do with diet. So you can safely give all types of food. However if you notice aggravation of itching after any particular food, that can be avoided.
