Suggest Digestion And Bowel Movement Problems

My mother has had digestive issues for a very long time. She hasn't pooped in 3 weeks. Last night she took some medicine that was supposed to help her poop. It seemed to only make it worse. Now, this afternoon she has severe stomach cramps and she is pooping out blood. She does not have a fever. She also drinks lots of water and she eats very healthy. She's 38. What could be the issue? And what do I do to help her right now?
