Yes my wife has tb she is 51 years old a Filipino and weighs 41 kilos what would be the correct dosage of quad tab for her? We are in the XXXX. I am a XXXX citizen and my wife can t get a visa because of the tb. Thank You, XXXX

Hi,

The correct dose of Quadtab for your wife is 3 tab daily once a day depending on the weight of your wife (40-54 kg). It should be given at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal. As this drug is a combination of 4 drugs (R-cinex, Pyrazinamide, Isonex and Ethambutol), it should be given for initial 2 months. After this, a combination of 3 (R-cinex, Isonex and Ethambutol) or a combination of 2 drugs (Only R-cinex and Isonex only) should be given for 4 months to complete the treatment. In some cases, the treatment may be a bit longer, if suggested by your doctor.
