Hi,
The dose may be adjusted according to the response of the patient. Carbidopa + Levodopa dose may increase from 10/100 thrice a day to 200/2000 but it can be done under your physician/neuro physician guidance. Rasalect dose adjustment may be measured from 0.5-1 mg per day.
Hallucinations usually happen in the later stages of Parkinson’s. Hallucinations may be a side effect of Parkinson’s medication, but not for everyone who takes them.
It depends on the exact type of medication, the dose and the person taking them. Sometimes, the higher the dose of medication, the chances
of experiencing hallucinations is more. Therefore, they may decrease the dose of medication. It is nothing but the sensitive balancing of
Dopamine in the body.
Please consult your neuro physician, he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
