Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I ve been taking Vyvance for my newly diagnosed Binge Eating Disorder (this is the second month). 30 mg in the a.m. I take it at 5:00 a.m. When I get up in the morning and get ready for work. By 1:00 p.m., it has worn off and I am prone to begin binge eating again. I am wondering if my P. A. Could prescribe me a lower dose at 5:00 a.m. And then another dose at 1:00. Wha do you think?
Hello, Yes, this sounds like a good idea. Vyvanse comes in 10 and 20 mg doses so that is an option to try two doses, for example 20 mg in the morning and 10 mg later. you do not want to take this near bedtime though. Regards
