Suggest Dosage For Oflomac-M For Loose Motion

my 6.5 yr. son is suffering from vomiting, mild fever, sometimes loose motion and also often stomache. Doctor has given him Oflomac-M 10ml twice a day for 3 days and Zinconia 5ml once a day. After giving 4 doses of Oflomac-m medicine there is no relief and still he vomits and has often stomachache. Should he continue these medicines and also advise us on the dosage. Thanks.

Thanks for your query.
Noted the history about your 6.5 year old son and understood your concerns.
Oflomac-M if given by your Doctor must have given the proper dosages as the dosages in pediatric age group are usually dependent on the weight of the patient.
Since Vomiting and stomach ache have continued in spite of 4 dosages you can wait for a day and also consult your Doctor for symptomatic management of vomiting and pain.
Also needed is to give boiled and cooled water, electrolyte solution for the age and weight and antispasmodic for pain.
Give homemade food only.
Insist for test of stool and blood as it can give additional information and help in further management.
