Suggest Dosage Of Lexapro After Discontinuing It For A While

I have been on Lexapro 20 mg for approx a year. I recently stopped taking it, about 3 weeks ago. I do have some remaining pills, however didn t know if it would be safe to start at same dosage I was on prior to stopping. If it s not safe to start at 20 mg, the Escitalopram tablets I have are scored, could I cut in half and take a halk for a few days before taking entore 20 mg?

i would like to ask you that for what you were taking Lexapro and how long you are taking this.
Second, why are you stopping to taking this medicine ,?
have you contact your physician before discontinue your treatment?

if your physician told to stop this medicine, he should also tell you how to discontinuie...?

dont stop taking medication without consulting your physician.

otherwise, first you should take Half of your dose (10 mg) at night for few days and so on.( if you feel that your depressive symptoms are not coming back>)
