Suggest Dosage Of MTPill For Termination Of Pregnancy
i had sex wid my gf n she missed her periods this month..we had it 21 days back and her date for the periods is around 13th. she has taken cipla MTPill 200mg i wanted to know is this 200mg enough or she shud take 600mg..n wat medicine she should take after 48hours from now the trade name of misoprotol n how to take it orally or vaginally

For successful abortion MTP pill (prescription is required) should be used under the guidance and supervision of gynecologist after USG scan by confirming the intrauterine pregnancy and gestational age of pregnancy (useful for up to 63 days of pregnancy).So better to consult the gynecologist to prevent complication of pills. Mifepristone 200 mg is followed by misoprostol 400 ug (mifty kit) vaginally or orally after 48 hour. Another 400 ug should be given after 4 hour if needed under observation of gynecologist. Extra dose should be modified by gynecologist in case of no bleeding. Whole process of abortion is complete in 3 days. Follow up USG should be done after 14 days to confirm the incomplete abortion. Take proper rest, healthy diet, analgesic and proper pelvic hygiene care should be keep in mind after abortion. Use safe sex practice to avoid unwanted pregnancies in future
