Suggest Eye Drop For Sty Infection During Breast Feeding

I have sty infection in my both the eyes in both the side (upper and bottom) since last 2 years. I have many sty in my eyes...doc suggest me one kajal ZYMAR but my eyes infection remains same. I feed my one yr old baby frequently so please suggest me any eye drop which is safe for my baby.

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
You need to use drops and ointment containing Tobramycin for treating your stye.
Tobramycin is poorly excreted into breastmilk. Maternal use of an ear drop or eye drop that contains tobramycin presents little or no risk for the nursing infant.
Kindly use the eye drops 3 times a day and apply ointment along the inner side of eyelid at bedtime.
Also, take hot water fomentation twice or thrice daily along with.
