Hi,I am Neethu Vipin (Dietitian & Nutritionist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi. I am an IT professional since last 6 years, I have gained about 10 kg in 6 years from 52kg in 2008 to 63 kg now. My height is 4 11 . I have bloated stomach, swollen calf, and decrease in time of menses from 4 days to 2 days now. I wish to leave aata [roti and parantha] and breads for at least a month. If I go for gym , I do reduce about 2-3 kg in a month and then I gain again. Is it safe to go for uncooked food diet, like Carrots, fruits and other raw vegetables plus milk?
Welcome to Health care magic. Thank you for posting your question. At your height, an ideal weight would be around 45-50 Kgs. Actually there is no magic plan to achieve weight reduction , but I can certainly help you out. Try to maintain a balanced diet with cereals , proteins ,vegetables . Even a little oil and fat is also required. Try to eat around 4-5 fruits a day. Keep away from fried food , soft drinks . Have small meals at regular intervals.Drink loads of water. That's all about the diet.
It would be great if you could add to that a bit of physical exercise and cardio workouts like walking and jogging. Walk for at least 40 minutes a day
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
Wishing you good health.
