Suggest Healthy Lifestyle Plans While Being On Road As Truck Driver With No Facility Of Healthy Food And Exercising
I am a professional driver or shall I say truck driver. In my line of work there is no kitchen or tools on hand to eat healthy the way I want to.i eat a lot of salads nuts fruit yogurt bit I feel limited and I am on the road all the time so I DO NOT get the exercise I would like any suggestions for us truck drivers that are in a profession that doesn t have all the comforts of home. I am 55 and have gained about 40 pounds in the last 14 years and my health and weight is always on my mind. Thank you
thanx for using hcm, i appreciate your query sir.this problem is faced by many pateints whose job is related to marketing and driving for long hours.consume three major meals and three minor meals. sir start your day with healthy wholegrain breads with some protein like egg, cheese, pulses or legumes.then after 3 hours have snack like grainy biscuit or sandwich with tea or coffee.coming to lunch eat whole grains with vegetables and chicken, fish or dal curry.Proteins satisfy your hunger and decreases appetite.Evening snack can be fruit with buttermilk or yoghurts with nuts.Finally dinner same as lunch.
Home made chapathis would be ideal for you as it does not require any refrigeration.Home made cereal and pulses based snacks can be ideal for u.
