Suggest Home Remedy For Pain In The Coccyx

I have extreme pain In my lower back I m starting to believe it s my tailbone. But I don t remember doing anything that could had hurt me. I m also sick and everytime I cough It shoots a pain down my thighs and I almost can t stand. When I sit or try to get up from sitting it hurts really bad almost has me in tears. It does not hurt when I m walking or standing. Unless I move a certain way or cough. What is it? And what are some home remedies to help me get threw this!

Hello and thanks for your question. You could have some irritation or inflammation of the coccyx. Try alternating ice and heat and some anti-inflammatory medications for this. Turmeric is also a natural anti-inflammatory that can be used. Also gentle stretching would be helpful. If no relief see your doctor for exam and testing. I hope it is better soon.
