Suggest Immediate Relief From Vomiting, Diarrhea And Cramps
Hello doctor This is XXXX here. I am travelling since last ten days n two more days are still there. from last night I was feeling like vomiting but couldn t vomit. Now since morning I got twice loose motions. N der is cramps also in my stomach. I have taken nor tz one doze right now. Will it be fine. I am with a 3 year old kid so did not want to get sick. N I am on the Himalayas so no chance of getting washrooms. So what to do.
There is acute intestine infection through some sort of bacteria or virus most likely. As you are on Himalaya, immediate medical facility would not be available for sure and all the things that can help you would be: - Drink boiled water with lemon juice, tea, coffee at intervals - If available in your emergency drug kit (which usually all mountainers carry preferably), tablet ondancetron and capsule omeprazole with sips of water - Organic fresh fruits and yogurt will provide bacterial gut flora support for faster recovery. Once you reach the base camp or nearest medical facility, get further support of antibiotics and probiotics with lacto bacillus for still faster recovery.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
