Suggest Me Treatment For Multiple Cysts On The Testicles And Is It Contagious?
Hey Doc,
I have multiple cysts on my testicles which I have always had. I have asked doctors before and they say they are not dangerous and removal would be a painful process. I try popping them myself because they are embarressing but they always grow back. How can I get rid of them? Secondly when I pop them, white stuff comes out (both liquid and string) are they contagious if that white stuff(I assume puss) touches other parts of my skin is it more likely a cyst will grow?
Hello Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have multople Sebaceous Cysts on scrotum.
The scrotal skin is rich in sebaceous glands and hence prone to get more sebaceous cyst due to accumulation of sebum beneath the skin. Normally they fade away without treatment however they need to be treated if increase in size or get infected. Please consult qualified General Surgeon for clinical evaluation and further treatment. If needed some of them which are bigger may need to get excised in Toto (Completely along with the sac) Sebaceous cyst is not contagious.
