30 yr old caucasian female. 5 6 145 lbs. smoker: 1/4 pack a day. occasional social drinker. no drugs. no other health problems. Hx choroidal granuloma -- initially suspected to be sarcoidosis -- left eye x 4yrs. Inflammation resolved as of 1 yr ago. Eye now feels less mobile, grays out, and seems to have reduced peripheral vision. Opthalmologist says not to worry, Sx likely d/t eye being weak. Sx are becoming more distressing, but potentially d/t personal awareness. Also feel as if I have reduced sensation around the eye orbit when Sx more pronounced. Concerned that I may need to see a medical professional promptly instead of waiting for appointment with my ophthalmologist.
