Suggest Medication For A Bruise On The Thigh Caused By A Needle
I tried to wipe a thread off my thigh and grabbed it to pull it off and a sewing needle came out of my leg. It was in straight down, not angled at all I dont think. I had put the needle in my shirt temporarily when I was finished using it. Not sure ofhow it got in my thigh. I bled enough for it to run down my leg when I pulled it out but bleeding stopped with pressure. Now just developing a bruise 1 inch around where it went in. I think I had a tetnus shot within 2 years. My concerns are do I need any other antibiotics to avoid infection? Also, could a regular sewing needle, 1 1/4 inches long damage a vessel of any sort that could be of concern or will it just clot internally? Leg feels achy when I am walking around and sore it I press on the area.
In most cases the Hematoma would subside automatically but in few cases you're may need thrombophob ointment. It has to be applied 5 Teli in night for 7 to 10 days.
