Suggest Medication For Abdominal Tuberculosis

Hi, i am female aged 27, weight 40. I have diagnosed with abdominal tb. Doctor priscribed me rcinex, isonex, combutol 600mg and pyrizinamide for first month but due to increased in sgpt doctor discontinued rcinex after almost 15 days and after a month streptomycin injection was started and pyrizinamide was stopped. Now after 2 months doctor priscribed me to take pyrizinamide once again and stop streptomycin. Is the tratement right? Pain in my abdomen is not stopped yet? Is the treatment going well?

hallo my dear welcome to HCM,I HAVE READ YOUR QUERIES ,AND MY SUBMISSION IS THAT THE LINE OF TREATMENT IS PERFECT .WE HAVE BEEN WITNESSING DERANGEMENTS IN LIVER FUNCTIONTEST WHILE PATIENT ON ANTI TUBERCULAR THERAPY .IT IS EXPECTED FROM THESE DRUGS .BUT NOTHING TO WORRY .SECONDLY THE PAIN IN











my dear your treatment for abdominal tuberculosis is perfect.
the derangement in liver function test is common and expected side effects of anti tubercular drugs .please do not worry about the treatment and side effects .secondly the pain in abdomen might take few weeks to disappear ,it has been the experience that it does abate gradually .rest assured treament is going well .
