Suggest Medication For Brown And Slimy Stools

Hi recently i am kinda of worried of the symptoms that i hav Hi recently i am kinda of worried of the symptoms that i having with my stools. I am having brown, loose, slimy and stinky stools o and off for a period of few months. However its not everytime like this when i pass motion. At times my stools look fine, properly formed in one string but at times its really wet loose and slimy. Ca you please advise me whether is this the symptoms of certain terrible disease or illness? I am really very worried... Please help

Hello,

Brown slimy stools indicate underlying intestine infection or some sort of inflammatory issue. As per my clinical experience, primary care with the probiotic, gastrointestinal specific antibiotic course for a week or so cover the majority of the cases; later on, if required may need further in-depth evaluation.
