Suggest Medication For Burn On Leg With Slight Infection

My daughter burned her leg on a motorcyle and then went on a 4 day trip on a river, innertubing etc. .. She has returned and the burn is pretty painful and looks as if there maybe slight infection. Should I get her over the counter burn medication...or is there something else she should take?

Hi

No . As you are suspecting infection and that is possible with wound not healing still it is better that you show her to the doctor to decide the management.

Spread of infection to deeper structures should be avoided.

God bless
