Suggest Medication For Burning, bruise In Leg And Knot In Shin
possibly had hit on shin while playing with grandkids but not sure. No pain at time of playing. a little while later, had knot on shin, bruise about the size of dime. 3 days later, have intermittent burning in leg and bruising is severe all the way around leg muscle continuing down into bottom of foot. feels better with ice and no throbbing pain. from what I ve read, it doesn t sound like a blood clot but I am not a dr. age 59, male, hypertension, sugar controlled with meds but not insulin injections, high cholesterol controlled by meds.
I have studied your question and I think you are having collection of blood under skin. It can be due to injury when blood is not getting clotted fast. I would recommend you to get a ultrasound examination of the leg and also BT, CT and PT test. These tests will give us information about any abnormalities of blood. For leg I would recommend you to so hot water fomentataion. Also are you taking any medicine for making blood thin like aspirin or clopidogrel. These drugs can cause such blood. Also apply compression bandage around ankle and calf. If clotting abnormalities present in blood then you might need fresh frozen plasma.
