Suggest Medication For Burnt Marks On Hand And Chest
hello doctor, i have burnt my some portiond on my hand and also some portions on my chest with hot oil . it left a white mark after that. i used melacare cream after it healed. bt it still has the proper white mark. can you suggest any oinment for that?
You seem to have debveloped post-inflammatory hypopigmentation/depigmentation, which is very common after a burn.
Rather than using melacare which would is actually given to lighten hyperpigmentation, I would suggest that you use a moderately potent topical steroid e.g fluticasone propionate cream twice daily OR a topical immunomodulator e.g tacrolimus ointment twice daily for a few days. Either of them would be effective in inducing repigmentation from existing hair follicles
