hi! i am 18 weeks pregnant for my 3rd baby & having a bad cough & can t sleep for 2 weeks now. i consulted my OB & referred me to GP, so i went to GP & prescribed Gelobronchial herbal med, but when i read the leaflet it is not advisable for pregnant women so i did not take that medicine. I consulted another GP who s also servicing prenatal care, she prescribed Cefuroxime 250mg tablet - 2x a day for 5 days... Ambroxol 30mg tablet - 3x a day... Xylometazoline nasal spay - 2x a day... i took that medicines but after 6 days i still have cough so i went back to the GP & prescribed Ebastine 1x a day for 5 -7 days... i am taking that medicine for 4 days now & still having a bad cough... can you please help me to stop this bad cough... i am so worried, will it affect my baby s health as i am taking too much medicines? fyi, i did not stop my prenatal vitamins while taking those prescribed medicines. Needing your advice so badly... thank you so much!
