Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been taking Darolac probiotics. I think I might be using it incorrectly. since starting to use it about two months now I notice I seem to be dehydrated, my tongue has little sores....and my chest seems to have a burning Minor sensation...like you have with a chest cold. I started to take it to help with digestion
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted your history of taking a probiotic called Darolac for helping digestion for the last 2 months. Now you notice to be dehydrated, tongue getting little sores and chest seems to have minor burning sensations like when one has chest cold. I think Darolac might not have caused this, but since this is the only thing that you are taking, I would advise you to stop taking it. 2 months is a long time to use and is not used for improving digestion for such a long time. Also go for tests of stool and blood for sugar and routine and if any problem get corrected as per the findings on tests and on clinical evaluation. Consult an ENT Surgeon for clinical evaluation and further management.
