Suggest Medication For Dizziness After Sports Activity

My 15 year old son was running sprints in football practice this morning and after only 4 sprints he said he felt very dizzy and light headed. He has never felt like this before. He is very athletic and involved in many sports. Could this be related to us just flying home from a 4 hour flight 3 days ago and not having enough sleep the last few days?

Hello!
Welcome to HealthcareMagic!

I read carefully your query and understand your concerns.

It can happen to feel dizzy and light headed if you haven't sleep enough and you are tired. It is a way for the body to tell that he need to rest more.
If this happened only once after doing sport ,it might be nothing serious.
He should eat healthy ,drink plenty of fluids and rest.Make sure he sleeps at least 7-8 hours.

If these symptoms continue to occur ,then he may need to consult a physician and get examined.

Hope it was of help.
Kind Regards!
