I ve stopped using blistex for a while because after every 10 to 15 minutes my lips dry up badly. So I switch to to medicated Vaseline which still have me gave me problems with my lips drying so fast.. Then I suddenly discover on my lips a bunch of little bitty bumps that added an indecent feature to my face.. I want to know would I have this Fordyce thing forever and/or are there ways to get rid of them other than the laser treatment that I Maybe can t afford.?
As per your case history of dry lips, my treatment advice is:
1. Avoid sun exposure and use a good sunscreen lotion with SPF more than 30. 2. Apply a lip balm like Chaptex twice a day. 3. Take a vitamin B12 supplement once daily for 3 months.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
