Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

GERD (Gastroesophageal reflux disease) may cause pharyngitis with hoarseness of voice. It may be due to allergy of pharynx or infection or sinusitis or post nasal drip etcetera.

Until examination is done, it is difficult to say what it is. Avoid cold drinks, freeze water, smoking and caffeine drinks.

Use water vapor inhalation and do salt water gargle thrice a day for five days. Use tablet Pantoprazole before breakfast for one week.

If symptoms not improved, then please consult your doctor so that he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
