Suggest Medication For Herpes
i have genital herpes but i do know im not having an outbreak as of right now, but in the last 3 4 days i noticed i had sores on my lips and now my tounge and throat are hurting and tingling ect.. i am see very small blisters and now in each eye i have a spot they too hurt n burn. i know it is herpes i started taking my meds today is my third dose of 1gram caps.. what the hell should i do its not getting better

thank you for query.herpes genitalis and other herpes is known for recurrence.When active lesions are there then you can take oral acyclovir 200 mg 5 times a day for 5-7 days.Usually the severity and number decrease as days pass by.When no lesions are present to prevent recurrence acyclovir 400mg daily can be taken to prevent recurrence for a period of 6 -12 months under supervision of doctor.You can get back for any clarifications.Dr Bharatesh
