Suggest Medication For Itchiness And Brown Patch On Labia Majora
I had unprotected sex a month ago. I was shaved that time and my labia majora itches, I thought because the hair is growing but after 3 weeks I noticed the itch has become worse. I shaved again and discovered a brown patch a cm in size, it is scaled and dry. I google it and it looks like a ringworm. I put Apple cider vinegar on it and it become moist but it hurts so much and stop drying. My partner has a cat and it stays always on the bed after we had sex. The patch has been in my labia for a few days now and it hurts so much. I also put anti fungal cream on it for 2 days and it doesn t get better
Please do not shave the vulva, clip the hair short. Also clip your nails flush to the skin.
Some antifungal ointment like Whitefield ointment will give you relief. You may ask me direct question on this forum and upload the photograph of the lesion for my review for more precise advice.
Please get your partner examined for ring worm infection. Both of you should be treated simultaneously. Observe sexual abstinence till both of you are declared completely cured of the infection, which may take few weeks.
Please report to your Skin Specialist.
