Welcome to HealthcareMagic, Your uric acid is in normal range of 2.5 yo 6 mg/dL. But your Haemoglobin (Hb) level of 6.2 is very low. The minimum required level of Hb is 12. You are having severe anemia. The most common reason for anemia is iron deficiency anemia and you need to take iron tablets (daily 2 tablets of 100 mg of elementory iron). There is a disease known as thalassemia which needs to be ruled as in you. My advice to you is to immediately visit you physician and get your self evaluated and start taking your iron tablets. Based on your evaluation a blood transfusion may also be required. Do not worry as anemia will be corrected within a short period of time and you will feel healthy soon and be able to spend good time with your new born baby. Hope that answers your question, Regards, Dr.Imaad.
