I am a 23-year-old female, I m 5 1 and weigh 97 pounds. I woke up in the middle of the night feeling a little nauseous, went to the bathroom, and continued to feel worse. When I went to wash my hands I noticed that my coordination was very low; it took me a good minute to turn the faucet off. Then I started sweating profusely and my ears starting to ring louder than they ever have in my life. I continued to try to walk back to my bedroom and tripped on a stair at the top of the staircase. I ended up sitting on the ground there for a minute with intense ringing, dizziness, and nausea, feeling as if I was about to black out. It took me about five minutes to recover enough to get back up and go talk to my mother, who is diabetic and thinks I may have low blood sugar. I had blood work done a couple years ago when she was diagnosed with diabetes to ensure that I wasn t on the same path. The results showed that I had slightly low blood sugar after a few hours of not eating but nothing too severe, they just recommended I eat every couple of hours, which I usually do. I just want to make sure this is only a blood sugar issue and not something worse?
