Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of a male of 47, has mild pain in the belly button for the last one week that has disappeared. Histac helped, also have gush of acid coming to mouth while sleeping, Laparoscopic GB removal on August 7 this year, wants remedies.
Your history is suggestive of severe GERD, that is gastroesophageal reflux disease.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
PPI like Omeprazole
Domperidone for motility regulation.
Antacid every three hourly particularly when on empty stomach.
Soft bland diet. Avoid all the foods and beverages that increase the problems.
Do not sleep immediately after food.
Walk around after food.
No tobacco in any form.
No alcohol .
Avoid anxiety and stress at any cost as it is one of the commonest instigating and enhancing factors.
