Suggest Medication For Osteoporosis In A Person Having One Kidney
Hi, my husband has been diagnosed with osteoporosis (advanced) by our primary care doctor and we are looking for a specialist to start treatment with in harlingen, tx. my husband only has one kidney (was born like this) and thats why he hasnt begun taking osteoporosis medication
As your husband has osteoporosis the recommended line of action should be having oral supplement of Vitamin D and calcium. it can be either through the diet form or medicine form. also, having one kidney won't be an issue.
If taken more through the diet it should be good as medicine will act as a supportive therapy. Also taking sunbath and doing simple exercise which are free of weights and stretching should be good to avoid weakness of the body.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
