My daughter got hit with a plastic swing on the top corner of her earlobe . The swelling went down a whole bunch . There is bruising to the earlobe but no lump on or near where she got hit . She only has pain to that area. States her hearing is fine no weird noise or pain to any other area that I touched . Should I be worried ?
Hi. If there are no mumps, hearing is fine and no weird noise, nothing much to worry. A hit on the earlobe with only bruise is to be observed and treated with anti-inflammatory medicines like Ibuprofen or whichever suits your Daughter. Keep under the observation of the ENT Surgeon so that intervention can be done whenever necessary .
