Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Approx.3mo. ago I started to develop minor ache in my right calf only - not a charlie horse , but a ache. Now 3 mo. later I have severe pain in my rt. calf and the only thing that gives me some relief is a warm moist compress. I can t function - it seems to get worse when I sit - but it is also there standing. I was diag. like 4 mo. ago w/ crystalization in left knee and PT because they thought maybe the left leg was weak and more wgt. on right. Well I ve had the PT to strengthen the left leg and I lost weight - the pain seems to have increased. I need answers. PCP ordered alot of lab work - everything came back okay. What are we missing ?
The only thing I can notice at your scenario is the overuse of the right leg while having problems with the left leg. To me, you need rest, physiotherapy and magnesium and vitamin-B complex supplement.
All the best. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
