Suggest Medication For Persistent Cough?

I am suffering from cough for last two and half years. I used to face cough every month for 5-6 days and after getting cough syrup and tablets i used to be cured. But for the last one month i am having cough regularly and even syrup and tablets are not showing any effect to cure it. I get cough only in day time means whenever i do work, i dont get cough a single time in night while sleeping but as i awake, cough is again started. I need to know the exact reason for this, and what should i do to get myself permanently cured from this disease?

I can understand your concern.
You are having cough only in the day time. So possibility of allergic cough is more. Allergy to environmental things like dust, pollens, mites, animal fur, smoke etc is causing you cough.
Another possibility is chronic lung infection like tuberculosis.
So better to consult pulmonologist and get done clinical examination of respiratory system, chest x ray and PFT (Pulmonary Function Test).
Chest x ray is needed to rule lung infection.
PFT is must for the diagnosis of allergic cough.
You may need inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS). Oral combination of antihistamine and anti allergic drugs are also indicated in your case.
So better to first diagnose yourself and then start appropriate treatment.
