Suggest Medication For Relatively Darker Skin On My Forehead

Hi, I am a 26 year old female. My forehead is tanned (and is literally turned dark) compared to the rest of my face. I am unable to use sunscreens as they dont suit my skin and leave it oily. Kindly let me know a solution as the darker shade of my forehead does not look good and I have become very concious due to the same.

Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

Sunscreen is an essential part of the treatment of any hyperpigmentation over face. You could use a gel based sunscreen, preferably the one with an SPF above 30. A sunscreen needs to be applied every 2-3 hours.

At night, a skin lightening cream containing hydroquinone 2% Or 4% can be use for the dark area on forehead.

Besides you can also opt for a few sessions of glycolic peel from a dermatologist. Chemical peels can be used with or without skin lightening creams.
