Suggest Medication For Severe Cold

My son is 1year and 3 months old now. He is suffering from severe cold now. Is it preferable to give alerid syrup for him. ? is there any fever? - NO what is character of cough, is it dry or productive?Cough because of cold -its dry cough actually - is there any associated nose blockage?nope. we are giving him nasal drop to him. -is he taking feeds normally? - got reduced. prefering only hot milk and ceralac. rest all he is ignoring

Steam inhalation,local instillation of saline nasal drops locally relieves congestion.
Alerid cough syrup helps in reducing sough and cold.
Avoid cool atmosphere and keep the baby warm.
