Suggest Medication For Severe Cramps In Lower Abdomen Due To Diarrhea

I have had off and on diarrhea for several days. I have taken over the counter meds and herbs for it but it keeps persisting and today the actual output is not much but I am having severe cramping in my lower right abdomen. I have been in a kitchen remodel for a few weeks and wonder if food poisoning from eating out so much could have this effect or if the paint could be causing the cramps? Five days...I need a break from the pain. I have been around people with burst or inflamed appendix, I am worried about that too although I would think the pain would be more constant in that instance...help please!

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of diarrhea for several days and tried OTC and herb, and now severe cramping in lower right abdomen for 5 days. eating outside food as the kitchen is remodeled, worried about appendicitis.
My thoughts:
Since there is a positive history of eating outside food and paint being applied in Kitchen and so on, the possibility looks more of food related issue and the pin in the right lower abdomen can be due to Typhlitis a condition of the inflammation of the stating point of colon called cecum.
I would advise you the following:
First of get the stool checked, blood and urine too.
As per the report have a 5 day course of an antibiotic and metronidazole and you will be fine.
Continue with probiotics and multivitamins.
