Suggest Medication For Swelling And Oozing Tragus Pierce

Hi I got my tragus pierced 2 weeks ago for 6 days was fine now it is swollen up huge and oozing I went back to the piercer she said it was normal and even change it to bigger jewellery I currently using sea salt water to bath it ibrupofen for pain and ice pack. At night as the pain keeps me awake and if it still hasn't gone down by tomorrow she gonna put a bigger bar in again I'm just wondering whta the best and most effective anti inflammatory is as ibrupfen aint working for the swelling my ear is almost closed

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that you have got infection at the piercing site of tragus and it is leading to swelling and discharge that seems to be pus..
It can also be infection secondary to skin irritation caused by wearing earrings not made of inert materials lke gold or plastic..
Other metals can reach with air and water and decompose..
The decomposition products can cause skin irritation..
I would suggest you to remove the ear jewellery. An clean the area with antiseptic solution..
You can also clean the area with antiseptic solution and apply moderate pressure to release pus as much as possible..
You can apply Antibiotic Ointment and steroid ointment over it..
In case if still it does not resolve consult a General Physician and he can advise you Oral antibiotics and painkillers..
